Tecar Therapy (Lower & Upper Region)
Tecar therapy is a used primarily in the treatment of trauma and inflammation of the musculoskeletal system. Tecar uses radiofrequencies to stimulate the biological responses of surface and deeper tissues. By stimulates cellular metabolism, it ultimately expedites tissue repair and regeneration. This stimulates fibroblast activity, promoting collagen production and facilitating the formation of new blood vessels.

Muscle Scraping Therapy (Lower & Upper Region)
Muscle scraping is a manual therapy technique that is used to accelerate the healing of injured soft tissues, such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia. Muscle scraping breaks down the scar tissue that is normally associated with some form of trauma to the soft tissue (e.g. a pulled muscle, ligament, tendon or fascia). This in turn can help to alleviate pain and lessen any restricted movement.

Bodyworkers have trained eyes to see catches, hitches, pulls and snags that have manifested in a client's body just by analyzing their gait and movement. Bodywork therapy is applied to very specific areas or locations on the body to release stagnant muscles, connective tissue, readjust joints with muscle manipulation and soft tissue adjustments.

Medical Massage

What is Clinical Massage Therapy?

Do you know what clinical massage therapy is? If you don’t, you’re not alone. Most people know that a spa massage can help you relax, and they might even know that there are different techniques like Swedish, shiatsu, deep tissue, and reflexology. Spa massages can be very relaxing, but they aren’t the same as clinical massage therapy, which has the goal of restoring function and relieving pain and uses specific modalities to achieve therapeutic results.
By manipulating soft tissue using rubbing, kneading, tapping, or compressing to stimulate a relaxation response in specific parts of the body, clinical massage therapy goes a step further than a spa massage. It targets specific orthopedic issues rooted in muscle, tendon, ligament, or nerve pathology. These pathologies can cause pain, limit movement, and generally interfere with daily life. By making functional changes in these tissues, movement can be restored and pain relieved. This therapy is targeted to achieve therapeutic benefits that go far beyond just relaxing. Someone who has suffered an injury needs a massage therapist who understands their injury and how to treat it in a way that not only aids the healing and recovery process but doesn’t further injure the patient.
